Hi Ajay, if this is for our Face to Face interview we do usually start the interview by getting to know you a little bit more and may take this as an opportunity to review your CV, past experiences or job roles you have had. We will then move on to talk more about the role and the reasons you have applied for the role and Direct Line Group. A good tip is to look at the careers website, review our values and learn a bit more about our culture.
We do also ask you some competency based questions, where we ask you to draw on your own experiences and talk us through what happened in a situation (It is a bit like telling us a brief story). You can prepare for these types of question by again looking at our values and thinking of some examples that you can relate back to that value. Also if you google the 'STAR' technique, this will help you structure your answers when preparing your answers.
