Hi Paula, thanks so much for your question. It really is down to you and what you would prefer. Our contact centre roles don't require previous experience and so you would be able to apply for these positions. We also have Apprenticeships in our contact centre where you would study towards a Financial Services qualification whilst gaining on the job experience. I would recommend that you have a read through our job advertisements in the location you would want to be based, as they will always tell you what we are looking for and give you a flavour of what the role involves.
Thanks Anthony for your prompt reply. I have had a look at the roles in the contact centre in Bromley. I have found two roles where it says "previous Claims handling experience is not essential but would be advantageous". I have applied before for a similar role but I wasn't lucky. With my professional background, is it possible to get a claims role without experience in the insurance industry?

Yes we would accept applications from candidates who might not have claims handling experience and I would recommend that you ensure the other skills and qualities we are looking for are on your CV. For some of our contact centre roles we believe that a lot of the technical skill needed in the role can be learnt in the training we provide.
