Many thanks for your question. As of 5th April 2017, our median gender pay gap was 14.7% and reflects the spread of women across all areas of our business but particularly the higher levels. It is this “talent gap” that we are working hard to tackle. That is why we have introduced a number of initiatives to support and develop our female colleagues, ensuring they are able to maximise their career potential and contribution to Direct Line Group. We became a signatory of the HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter and are working towards increased female representation in our senior management to 30% by 2019.
